Volunteer in our Lifeline Shops

Our Lifeline shops run on the generosity and community spirit of local volunteers. When you join our team, you’re helping support crisis services across the Loddon Mallee and making a real difference close to home.

Why volunteer

Volunteering in one of our Lifeline shops is a hands-on way to support your community. Whether you enjoy chatting with locals, organising donations, creating displays or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you. Every hour you give directly supports Lifeline Loddon Mallee’s crisis services, ensuring people in distress have a safe place to reach out. Our teams are warm, welcoming and down-to-earth — you’ll feel part of the community from day one.

When you volunteer, we work alongside you to help you settle in and learn the ropes. No experience is needed — just kindness, curiosity and a willingness to help. Volunteering is also a great way to build confidence, meet new people and gain skills for life. You’ll play an important role in providing hope, connection and support across our region.
