Every day, Lifeline Loddon Mallee supports people who are struggling with:

  • Suicide ideation and prevention 
  • Loneliness, grief and isolation 
  • Mental health challenges 

 

A gift in your Will helps us: 

  • Keep local crisis support services accessible through our Bendigo and Mildura 13 11 14 Call Centres 
  • Train and support skilled crisis volunteers to answer calls from people in their darkest moments 
  • Strengthen community-based suicide prevention, awareness and training 
  • Ensure help is available, when it’s needed most

If you’re ready to leave a gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will is a personal decision, and we encourage you to speak with a solicitor to ensure your Will best reflects your personal wishes and discuss your decision with loved ones, if you feel comfortable.

There is no obligation to let us know, however we would love the opportunity to thank you and honour your generosity. 

Should I tell you about my gift?

Letting us know is entirely optional. However, sharing your intentions allows us to: 

  • Personally thank you 
  • Ensure we understand your wishes 
  • Welcome you into our community of legacy supporters 

All conversations are confidential and handled with care. 

Honouring a loved one 

You may also choose to honour the memory of a loved one through a gift in your Will, helping their legacy continue by supporting others in times of crisis. 

Peter Ryall Award

Peter William Ryall Award

The Peter William Ryall Award, for the quiet achiever.
Peter was a Civil Engineer who lived in and loved Bendigo, he was also a dedicated Bendigo South Rotarian and an enthusiastic and involved community member with many associations such as the Victorian Welsh Choir fundraising concert, Rotary team projects, Vision Australia newspaper reader and volunteering at the Bendigo Tourist Information Centre. Peter passed away in 2015 and his legacy is that he felt strongly about Bendigo & Central Victoria regional healthcare, history & tourism.
Peter made it known that he wanted his estate to focus on local charities who are simply doing good in the world. Lifeline Loddon Mallee was very fortunate to be one of the major recipients of his legacy and we received a significant donation in 2020. Lifeline Loddon Mallee membership would like to sincerely thank & acknowledge his generosity and pay tribute to Peter, whose qualities and regard for others benefitted many people, groups & organisations, and enabled his vision to continue through this legacy.
Peter was described by his family, friends and peers as a quiet achiever, a family man and a passionate community member. In honour of Peter and his enduring legacy, Lifeline Loddon Mallee has received permission from his family, Ivan, Heather & Keith Ryall to acknowledge annually, a volunteer who exhibits these same qualities.
