Community Volunteering

Community Volunteering

Volunteering at our community events and fundraisers is one of the simplest ways to support people in distress across the Loddon Mallee. Whether you can give a few hours or a whole day, you’ll be helping keep essential crisis support services running in our region — and having fun along the way.

Simple way to help support

Our community events and fundraisers bring people together while raising vital funds for local crisis support. From sausage sizzles and community walks to gala nights and market stalls, every event helps Lifeline Loddon Mallee stay strong and accessible for anyone who needs a safe place to talk. When you volunteer, you’re lending your time and heart to help others find hope — and that ripple effect is felt across Bendigo, Mildura and the towns in between.

Attend events

You don’t need any special skills to get involved — just a willingness to help. Roles can include greeting guests, setting up event spaces, selling raffle tickets, helping with BBQs, packing up, or supporting our fundraising teams on the day. We’ll walk alongside you, making sure you feel welcomed and supported from the moment you arrive. Together we can make every event a moment of connection, hope and community strength.

Together we can make a difference

Every dollar raised through our events stays right here in our region, helping Lifeline Loddon Mallee provide counselling, crisis support training, and the 13 11 14 phone service. Your time helps make this possible. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our work — stronger together, community-led, and always here to give hope when it’s needed most.
