While Lifeline Australia receives federal funding for the systems our volunteers use, Lifeline Loddon Mallee must raise around 80% of the funds needed to keep our local operations running. Volunteer training, day-to-day costs and community programs such as counselling, training and critical incident response receive no government funding - they rely entirely on community generosity.
