Events

Lifeline Loddon Mallee events bring communities together to raise awareness, encourage helpseeking and helpgiving and fund vital crisis support and suicide prevention services across our region.

With Australians reaching out to Lifeline every 28 seconds, local support has never been more important. Through events across our region, we help ensure no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Below are our upcoming events and campaigns designed to encourage both help-seeking and help-giving behaviours.

Out of the Shadows

Out of the Shadows

Join us at Lifeline Loddon Mallee on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) as we come together to remember those we’ve lost to suicide.

Throughout September, we’ll be hosting in-person walks across our region, offering a chance to pause, reflect and walk side by side in support. You’re welcome to take part in a way that feels meaningful to you—whether it’s to honour a loved one, pay tribute to a friend or family member, or to stand alongside Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges.

Together, we can create space for connection, compassion and hope, because no one should have to face tough times alone.

Push up

The Push Up Challenge

Join Lifeline Loddon Mallee for The Push-Up Challenge 2027!

In 2026, participants took on The Push-Up Challenge by completing thousands of push-ups to honour the lives lost to suicide and help raise much-needed awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Through their incredible efforts, participants started important conversations, supported their wellbeing, and raised vital funds to help Lifeline continue providing crisis support and suicide prevention services.

The challenge may be tough, but the impact is even greater. Get ready to join us in 2027, challenge yourself, connect with your community, and help make a real difference for people experiencing mental health challenges. Together, we can raise awareness, save lives, and create hope.

Contact the team at giving@lifelinelm.org.au if you would like more information.

Community-Led Events

When our community comes together, amazing things happen. Community-led fundraising events for Lifeline Loddon Mallee help raise vital funds and awareness, ensuring we can continue supporting people in need across our region. We are grateful for every person, group and organisation that chooses to make a difference through their local event.
