Accredited Crisis Supporter Training
This nationally recognised training course is the pathway to becoming a Lifeline Crisis Supporter. Trainees learn to take calls on 13 11 14, provide non‑judgemental support and build skills in suicide prevention, crisis de‑escalation, and safety planning.
Crisis Supporters play a vital role in our Bendigo and Mildura call centres, answering thousands of calls each year.
Managing Challenging Interactions
In some jobs, employees will find themselves managing emotionally charged interactions on a regular basis. Having a sound understanding of the reasons for challenging behaviours, how to manage and de-escalate that behaviour, and how to look after yourself in the process, is essential for safe and effective responses in challenging situations.
