Accidental Counsellor Foundations

A practical workshop designed for anyone who unexpectedly finds themselves supporting someone in distress - teachers, service industry staff, hospitality workers, community volunteers and anyone who develops relationships with clients or customers. 

Participants learn calming strategies, active listening skills and how to safely refer people to further help.

About the workshop

Ever had to step in the shoes of an accidental counsellor? 

The Accidental Counsellor Foundations Workshop will provide you with the necessary skills and tools to be able to step into the shoes of an accidental counsellor momentarily, respond appropriately, efficiently and effectively to people in crisis or distress when there may not be a professional immediately available. 

Individual workshops for organisations can be arranged with 12 or more attendees.
